The idea for establishing the federation of associations Arcadian in Athens cultivated in the late 1940s when many Arcadians moved in Athens and created there several patriotic associations.
The Constituent General Assembly held in June 1955 in which was elected twelve-member Interim Management Committee. In July 1956 the first elections were held for the election board and involved representatives from forty-eight (48) Arcadian associations. First President of the Pan-Arcadian Federation Greece was elected the University Professor and later (1973) President of the Academy of Athens, Elias Mariolopoulos from Magouliana.
In recent years the clubs – members of the Federation far exceeded the initial number of the founding clubs. The year 1977 ET Greece has 147 members of the patriotic clubs, of which accounted Mantinea (30), the Gortynia (66), Megalopolis (33), Kynouria (14) and Arcadia in general (4). Today in the Federation resources are more than 200 clubs.
Within sixty (60) years of operation of the ET Greece, with the initiatives taken and the work produced, always stood by the Arcadians and the birthplace of land.
